The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas~Rachel Holbert-Jones

To view my other blogs go to  The Front Page . Of course, my blog wouldn't be complete without talking about the casino that my fiance's grandfather owned and one that we visited and were thoroughly pleased with. James inherited his grandfather's casino  The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas  before I did so that was our first stop. We enjoyed it very much and it gave me an opportunity to show James some of the sights of Las Vegas and my favorite spot  Nevada State Route 375  also known as the extraterrestrial highway which supposedly UFO's have been spotted. The only thing I spotted was a couple of cows. I've driven the highway from start to finish every time I've visited Vegas. The first time I started in  Tonopah Nevada ,  Queen Of The Silver Camps  around 5 AM. There is only one truck stop there that is 24 hours and it's quite noisy. It was winter and the water in the bathroom was ice cold. And since I had to have some caffeine at that early hour I b...

Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa~Rachel Holbert-Jones~Las Vegas Nevada

To view all of my other blogs go to  The Front Page . When my grandfather left me part owner of  Red Rock Casino Resort And Spa , now just to be clear he was part owner of Deutsche Bank in Germany which as of 2016 I wasn't to thrilled with and here's why:  Deutsche Bank: The World's Most Dangerous Bank . Of course, there are probably many banks that don't rank so highly and we as consumers may not even be aware of it. When I found out I thought like most people in my position probably would, "OMG, I'll never have to work another day in my life" until boredom sets in and it becomes apparent one needs to work to have something to do if for no other reason. This, as you can imagine wasn't the scenario. Not only do I find out I'm not going to get as much as I thought(it was divided among my cousins and me) I find out my grandfather in his infinite wisdom set it up in a trust so I only get a small amount each month. Not enough to live on or get me o...

A Little Bit Of Background On Me~Rachel Holbert-Jones

To view all of my blogs go to  The Front Page . I won't go into how we met. We actually met some time ago before I met my ex husband. His work and family took him in a different direction and I was in the process of moving so it just didn't work out. He has two kids. Both absolutely wonderful. Unfortunately, it just wasn't our time. Like I said in my last post we have many interests and hobbies among the both of us. I have several other blogs which I want to keep separate and haven't had much time to work on with everything keeping me so busy. I'm lucky enough to have an uncle who gave me one of his RV's and that has been a full time job learning the ins and outs and I'm still learning. Recently, I had some problems which aren't that uncommon being they are machines. It can take more time to be fixed when there's a warranty company involved plus the places that work on RV's aren't as readily available as a Honda dealer. I'm gettin...

Welcome To My New Blog~Rachel Holbert-Jones

Hi and welcome. I'm creating this blog partly for a marketing strategy and partly to tell everyone about my new engagement along with other changes I've made in my life. It's just a little bit of everything. But I want it separate from my other blogs and connected to if that makes sense. To view all of my other blogs go to  The Front Page . This will help everyone who follows my fiance and I, friends, family, followers, acquaintances, neighbors, coworkers, etc. to be able to keep up with what's going on in our lives without digging through our myriad of posts on facebook, twitter, pinterest, tumblr, our other social media sites and of course my other blogs. I've taken up some new hobbies in addition to my other hobbies of photography, reading, writing, blogging, haunted places, abandoned houses, asylums, etc., cycling, hiking, dancing, music, cars, movies, TV and travel. I'm now into weight lifting(weight machines at the gym but mostly dumbbells) and occasio...
